Is it bad wanting to be a famous actress?

i heard people saying oh i wanna be a famous actress then other people say oh if your just doing it for the same you will never get it but selena gomez said in her audition that she wanted to be and she did also some other famous actors said that but i dont think doing it for the fame is bad
